Dr. Valdo Arnera
- General Manager, Europe, PHT Corporation.
Dr. Arnera joined PHT Corporation in 2000, and founded the company’s
European affiliate in January, 2001. During his more than 19 years
of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, he has held positions
ranging from Clinical Research Physician to Vice President of
Medical Affairs. Skilled in both science and management, Dr. Arnera
currently serves as the General Manager of PHT’s European
operations. He is also an active co-chair of the DIA’s Special
Interest Area Communities (SIAC) eClinical and Standards committee.
Prior to joining PHT, Dr. Arnera founded the first European Central
Clinical Laboratory to clinical trials, SciCor (now Covance Central
Laboratory), and practiced medicine in various positions. Dr. Arnera
received his French State Doctor’s Degree in Medicine from the
University of Clermont-Ferrand I.
Dr. Jeffrey Green
– President & CEO, DATATRAK International, Inc.
Jeffrey A. Green, Pharm. D., FCP. is our founder and has served as
President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director since March 1992.
From 1984 to 1992, Dr. Green served as an Assistant Professor of
Medicine and Radiology at Case Western Reserve University,
Cleveland, OH. During his tenure at Case Western, Dr. Green
established and directed the Cardiovascular Clinical Pharmacology
Research Program at University Hospitals of Cleveland. In addition,
Dr. Green was an established investigator in clinical cardiology and
PET scanning, and was responsible for directing over 90 individual
investigations.
Edward Helton
- Chief Pharmaceutical and Regulatory Scientist, The SAS Institute
Edward D. Helton, Ph.D., Chief Pharmaceutical and Regulatory
Scientist, Worldwide Strategy, SAS, has worked in the pharmaceutical
industry, academia and for the WHO, FDA and NIH. He has a BA in
chemistry from Texas Tech University, a MA in biology from the
College of William and Mary and a Ph.D. in biology from the
University of California, Santa Barbara.
Adrian Hsing
- Director, Clinical Data Management, Gilead Sciences
Mr. Hsing is Head of Clinical Data Management at Gilead Sciences,
Inc., where he has implemented a virtual clinical data management
concept to improve clinical data management process. Prior to
joining Gilead Sciences, Inc., Mr. Hsing worked for Tufts University
School of Medicine / New England Medical Center Hospitals, PAREXEL
and Pfizer. He also has served as co-principle investigator on Phase
I oncology clinical trials. Mr. Hsing is a graduate from Tufts
University Sackler School of Graduate Biomedical Sciences, and holds
a M.S. in Molecular and Cellular Physiology.
Dr. Glen Popp
- Product Manager, DATATRAK Deutschland GmbH
Glen Popp, PhD., MSc., has served as Product Manager for all
DATATRAK Software Products since 2002. In this position, Dr. Popp is
responsible for the future planning, management and technical
support of all our software products. Furthermore he is one of our
CDISC experts and representatives. From October 1999 through
December 2002, Dr. Popp served our company as Product Manager for
the DATATRAK EDC product suite. Prior to joining DATATRAK, Dr. Popp
served in various Sales Representative positions, for Innovex
Deutschland GmbH, Glaxo Welcome Deutschland, and Novartis Pharma
GmbH.
Philipp J. Roessler
- Solution Center Manager, DATATRAK Deutschland GmbH
Philipp Roessler, MSc., has served as Solution Center Manager for
the global technical helpdesk in Bonn since July 2002. Mr. Roessler
is responsible for the development and management of the Solution
Center team, ensuring high quality and professional global customer
support for DATATRAK Users. This includes developing and training
individual employees and working closely with other departments in
order to satisfy Customers’ expectations. From March 2001 to June
2002, Mr. Roessler worked as an agent at the Solution Center.
Dr. Wolfgang Summa
- Vice President Global Operations, DATATRAK Deutschland GmbH
Wolfgang Summa, PhD., MSc., has served as our Vice President of
Global Operations since December 2000. Dr. Summa is responsible for
our operational strategy including the delivery of DATATRAK EDC™ to
customers as well as the management of our clinical trials. From
October 1999 through December 2000, Dr. Summa served as our Vice
President and Managing Director of Europe. From January 1998 to
October 1999, Dr. Summa served as our Manager of European
Operations. Prior to joining us, Dr. Summa served in various
research positions within the electronic data capture industry for
PadCom Clinical Research and Electronic Data Systems.
Dr. Jochen van Berkel
– Director, Product Development, DATATRAK Deutschland GmbH
Jochen van Berkel, PhD., MSc., has served as Director of Product
Development since April 1999. Dr. van Berkel is responsible for
strategic product planning and development of all DATATRAK software
offerings. This includes the DATATRAK EDC™ suite, StudyTrak™,
Unifyer™ and future products for integrated management and execution
of Clinical Trials. From January 1998 to March 1999, Dr. van Berkel
served as our Head of Product Management. Prior to joining DATATRAK,
Dr. van Berkel served in various research and development positions
within the electronic data capture industry for PadCom Clinical
Research and Electronic Data Systems.
