Workflow is an electronic routing and management system for documents and digital assets as a logical extension of Workgroup collaboration. 

Workflow allows you to upload existing files into the File Manager and associate them to business process workflows. Every step of the file-routing process is based on Workgroup business rules, roles and permissions.

Utilizing Workflow allows companies to automate routing processes and identify productivity inefficiencies. Key features include the ability to incorporate business rules that dynamically analyze values within files, electronic forms, collaboration items, documents or other sources. If a resulting trigger event occurs, a customized workflow will initiate, which can include automatic emails, generation of an alert or query, or the start of a defined trial-routing process.
